As human beings, we tend to focus on one stimulus at a time. Our brain does not like to handle multiple interactions and stimuli and is less effective in these environments. In this episode, we learn about the 1999 Simons & Chabris experiment of the \'invisible gorilla\' and how that changed our viewpoints on stimuli and the brain. There is so much nonverbal communication information out there, that we tend to miss most of it since we are singularly focused on the verbal message and not any of the 80% that is actually nonverbal. We miss a lot of what happens around us and here\'s what we can do about it.
