While I was originally going to continue discussing the opioid epidemic and the question of whether drugs should be decriminalized till the 2nd season, something momentous just occurred. A golden turd of an event occurred. 15 states reached an agreement to settle with Purdue Pharma. That means that rather than fight Purdue and the Sackler family over their responsibility for causing the opioid epidemic, those states would rather accept a payout freeing up the Sackler family from ever having to take personal responsibility for their part. It is a 15 state cop-out.'
