Quick Notes:

  • The power regulator on an Arduino can provide ~500ma if you\'re giving it at least 7v of power
    • \\n
  • If you\'re powering it from USB, it\'s closer to 400ma
    • \\n
  • Each LED can pull UP TO 60ma (20ma per color)
    • \\n
  • If you\'re going to power a long strand of LEDs, you want to use an external power source.
