Why has the United States been misreading China?

Published: July 2, 2021, 4 a.m.

The mainstream Western narrative about China was that the Chinese road and the Chinese model are unsustainable. No matter how much China has achieved, at some point in the future, China will either be completely Westernized or will inevitably collapse.

As China's development achievements continue to emerge, basically the mainstream Western view is no longer that China is bound to collapse, but how to get along with China.

Now, a narrative that U.S. President Biden and others have worked hard to create is that China and the United States are in a systemic competition. If China wins, the world will either be out of order and fall into chaos, eventually dragging the United States into it, or the world will be in a Chinese-dominated order that is "non-free" in nature.

I set up and operate this channel alone, hoping to share the real China with the world as well as clarify misconceptions and lies against China.

The continued development of China is the biggest game-changer in this century that affects all aspects of everyone’s lives. Embrace the change and seize the opportunity.
