How did a Chinese compete in the Olympics 100 meters final?

At the Tokyo Olympics, 32-year-old Su Bingtian made history. Running for 100 meters, it looks like anyone can do it. It is the most primitive power and speed of human beings. In this oldest track and field event, Su not only became the first Chinese to stand in the Olympic 100-meter final, but also broke the Asian record with a time of 9.83 seconds, once again breaking Asian’s speed limit.
