Biden is annoyed that the EU wants to implement the investment agreement with China

On June 7, European Council President Michel said that the EU is discussing the China-EU Investment Agreement, but he is personally convinced that the agreement is "a step in the right direction." Before meeting with Biden, Michel made a statement on behalf of the EU that the EU is ready to implement the China-EU Investment Agreement.

After the China-EU Investment Agreement is negotiated in 2020, it can take effect as long as the legislative bodies of both sides approve it. Due to the obstruction of the United States, the agreement has been hanging in the air.
