EP055: Transitioning Veteran – Part 3 – Should Being A Veteran Define You

Published: Dec. 19, 2020, 1:52 p.m.

This is the third part in a 4-part series dedicated to the Transitioning Veteran. This week Bennett and I sit down and ask the question: Should be a Veteran define you? Separating from the military is difficult enough, some use their disability and/or Veteran status as a roadblock rather than a stepping stone.

This episode is not designed to offend or downplay one’s service or status. It is meant to make you think. Stop being a victim, stop alienating non-Veterans, stop segmenting the Veteran community. “At the end of the day” when it’s time to roll outside the wire it is an honor to be a Veteran, wear it proudly, but don’t let it wear you.  Still Keeping it real!
