The Town of Fogo Island found out this week the RCMP is planning to leave. We got reaction from the mayor
b"The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are pulling out of Fogo Island. The national policing agency has told the town it will be serving the island from afar starting in September.That's when they plan to move staffing at their office on the island to a temporary part-time status. Andrew Shea is the mayor of the Town of Fogo Island."
