Our "Havin' A Yarn" series might give you a little extra incentive to visit some of the out-of-the-way communities in NL. Parsons Pond is about half way between Rocky Harbour and St. Anthony on the Northern Peninsula. Sheri Evangeline runs a Bed and Breakfast there called the Turnip Bed and Breakfast.
