Episode Notes

Overview

Growing up on an eastern Ohio farm, Adam left high school headed towards a career in the farming/natural resources industry. Strapped for cash, Adam took on a night-shift job at a local machine shop. It was here that Adam quickly developed an affinity for machinery. With his foot in the door, he let his natural curiosity and willingness to learn drive him.

A fast learner, it wasn't long before he had a firm grasp on the industries basics. With a yearning to advance, Adam spent the next few years jumping from shop to shop. Developing a wealth of knowledge in a variety of different machines, Adam mastered everything from the basic of manual machinery to the more advanced art of CNC (computer controlled) machinery.

Now garnishing journeyman credentials, a Toolmaker staus, and 15 years of experience, Adam is the owner and operator of his own machinery shop. Fueled by the creative aspect that comes with finding new paths of efficiencies in machinery, Adam has found a way to thrive in a very niche side of the trades. Listen in Adam gives Jeremy a in-depth look at the machinery industry  and how he carved his own path to success.
