About Our Guest

Curt Haaland has spent his life learning to craft knives from scratch. His father, a potter, got him into it after noticing his passion for collecting and fiddling knives. After attending a "hammerin'" class led by Bert Foster at a community college, Curt saw the potential in this field. By the time he graduated high school, he had the choice between attending art school, or pursuing knife making full time. Curt is now 24 and to this day is still pursuing his passion for knife making.
