As a child battling with being overweight Adam started practicing Karate where his passion for fighting grew eventually leading him to boxing. Inspired by the great Polish heavyweight Andrew Golata, Kownakci jumped headfirst into his amateur boxing career where he won multiple New York Golden Glove championships. Now a seasoned pro and top contender in the heavyweight division...Adam speaks on his rabid Polish fanbase, his home in the Barclays center and the birth of his son's effect on his life.
