Wednesday, August 26th 8:00PM Eastern/ 5:00PM Pacific The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Dr. Horace Bartilow. A professor of political science at the University of Kentucky, Dr. Bartilow examines International Political Economy. Specifically, he researches "the politics of the World Bank's and IMF's structural adjustment lending and the impact of global economic integration on democratic governance and human rights." We'll examine his 2019 publication,  Drug War Pathologies: Embedded Corporatism and U.S. Drug Enforcement in the Americas. The book details how the White Supremacist "War On Drugs" that originally targeted black people born in the U.S. became a global mission against non-white people. We'll also discuss his more recent report on how the C.I.A. destabilized Jamaica during  the 1970's.  Dr. Bartilow grew up on the island, and the C.I.A. designed chaos greatly impacted his formative years. #GlobalSystem INVEST in The COWS – paypal.me/TheCOWS The C.O.W.S.
