b'Coach Perry shares his story of growing up in West Virginia and being a non-scholarship player at ETSU under Ed DeChellis. He stresses the importance of face-to-face interactions and relationships. Coach Perry has tremendous loyalty to his former coach and has served on his coaching staff at ETSU, Penn State, and now at Navy. He recollects on legendary football coach Joe Paterno\'s impact on the Penn State 2009 NIT Championship team and what he remembers about coaching one of my former players [Zach Fong]. His journey and how he\'s climbed the ladder is one that younger coaches can certainly learn from.
