b'Coach Butch Estes shares his journey from growing up in High Point, NC to being on cusp of notching his 600th win.\\nAfter playing on the Freshman team at the University of North Carolina he became a Student Assistant under Dean Smith. Upon graduation became an Assistant Coach at The Citadel, East Carolina, and then Rice. His first Head Coach experience was at Presbyterian, where he spent five seasons before accepting the same position at Furman. After being let go at Furman, he served as a basketball analyst for Fox before Guilford College hired him to lead their program.\\nHis first coaching experience at the JUCO level was at Miami-Dade CC where he went 69-22 during his time there before accepting an Assistant Coach position at The University of Miami under Frank Haith. After his wife accepted a job in Washington, he became an Assistant Coach at Seattle before returning to Florida where he took over at Palm Beach State. Coach Estes spent three seasons at the helm before Barry University hired him.\\nHe\'s coached at the NCAA D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO levels.
