Systems, Surroundings, focus, and energy are some of the pieces to our interior and exterior infrastructure. What you focus on expands so what is it that you are focusing on? When times are good we tend to pound our chests and pat ourselves on the back due to all the hard work we did to get us to it. At same time, we fail to give systems credit. Of course, the moment things change with our economy, industry, etc, we blame the system and don't give any blame to ourselves. Our systems/ habits are perhaps the most important aspect that leads to success. Without solid ones, we are only floating on luck with hopes its not the titanic we are floating on.
