In statistics 101 you learn that statistics is the easiest thing to manipulate. Because most people don\'t understand how to interpret and digest statistics, I often see and hear people throwing out statistics that, while are 100 percent true, are also 100 percent not relevant to the subject matter that they use them for. Most people seek information that supports what they want to believe and will tell them that they are "right", even if that specific information is the wrong info to be going off of. Supportive info over truth is what, perhaps most seek as they allow their bias to lead them over objective, thought provoking, and inquisitive mindset. Part of being intentional, intentionally you, is to challenge yourself and your mindset. Challenging yourself more than you do others in efforts to make sure that you are genuinely coming from a place of understanding and even more importantly, WANTING to come from a place of understanding is prudent. My email is BeIntentionalPodcast@gmail.com. I am going to be starting to do a weekly (every Monday morning) podcast instead of once a day. I would rather have fewer podcasts with more substance than more podcasts with less substance. Looking forward to Monday and in the meantime, be intentional, intentionally you!
