Cody started his wrestling career at age 12 and during his time as amateur wrestler, he won the Georgia State Tournament twice (2003/2004). His mother is of Cuban descent and his father is iconic pro-wrestling legend, Dusty Rhodes, who is a WWE Hall of Famer. Both Cody and Dusty won NWA World Heavyweight Championship titles making them the first father/son to win the title. Cody helped launch AEW where he stars as a top wrestler and serves as Executive Vice President for the organization. He was the inaugural title holder of the AEW TNT Championship in 2020.
Brandi Rhodes is one of the few AEW talents to hold an executive role in the company serving as Chief Brand Officer and is the first African American woman to hold an executive position in a major North American wrestling promotion. Before making her way into wrestling, Brandi worked as a TV news reporter and anchor, but broke into entertainment by modeling in national brand campaigns. Prior to that, she figure skated competitively for 17 years.'
