The Knee Jerks: Eno and Big Al - Tigers, Lions make statements

b'The Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, Michigan Wolverines and Roger Goodell are the dominant topics in this weeks epiisode of The Knee Jerks with Eno and Big Al!\\n\\nEno and Big Al kick off the show talking about the weekend\'s events in Kansas City, the Tigers taking control of the AL Central by taking 2-of-3 from the Royals, extenidng their lead to 1 1/2 games with seven remaining. The guys also give their takes on the umpire controversy during Saturday\'s game, the much derided strategy of Royals mnager Ned Yost and Brad Ausmus\' baffling non-use of relief pitcher Joakim Soria.\\n\\nNext on the docket is the Lions surprisingly dominant 19-7 victory over the Green Bay Packers. Most surprising was the Lions\' defense shutting down Aaron Rodgers, along with the Detroit offense leaning on the ground game to dominate time of posession and lock down the win in the 4th quarter.\\n\\nIn regard to the Rodger Goodell press conference and the mess that has become NFL discipline, the Jerks believe as long Goodell keeps lining the pockets of NFL owners, expect no changes in the\\xa0 league hirearchy.\\n\\nAs for the badly struggling Wolverines, they were outclassed by of all teams, Utah, dropping to 2-2 on the season.
