Pres. Trump continues to falsely claim children have immunity to Covid-19

A new report says there’s been a 90% increase in the number of Covid-19 cases among children in the U.S. in just the last four weeks. President Trump says he thinks children are immune for the most part and “they don’t catch it easily.” Dr. Sean O’Leary is the Vice Chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Infectious Diseases, which helped produce the report. He tells Anderson Cooper it’s not fair to say the deadly virus is completely benign in children. Plus, leaders from college football’s “Power Five” conferences are reportedly discussing the possibility of postponing the upcoming season that’s slated to start in a few weeks because of coronavirus concerns.
