The late 1970s were tough times to be a Millwall fan, but one striker in the George Petchey 1979-80 season lit a flame that still shines bright to this day with a magnificent 21 goals that campaign.
Sadly the beauties were to be brief with us, as John moved on in 1981 - tragically to take his life almost a year later whilst playing at Colchester United.
