Spawn 1997 and the 8th Circle of Hell
My reaction to finally seeing the 1997 comic book movie Spawn, about a murdered assassin for the US government who agrees to be the leader of the Army of Hell. It has cheesy CGI and awful fart jokes, but beneath all of that is a message about where the USA was as a country. Were there evil people, with demons lurking in the shadows slowing taking over our country. Are there still good people in the country willing to fight for justice? Why did the writer pick the 8th Circle of Hell?
