What you are about to learn

Everything happens for a reason. We always hear this phrase every time we were caught up in a bad situation or an instance that we least expect to happen. And I feel that I want all of you to be encouraged I want you to be enabled. Nothing that is going on in your life right now is permanent. Think about this, no matter what you're going through, there is a rainbow after the rain. A sunrise that's coming after the night.

Sometimes we believe, but sometimes we don't. In the moment of the struggle, when we are overwhelmed, the night is dark, and everything seems awkward and terrible. It's sometimes difficult to believe, and later sometimes it's easy to think, and so sometimes we believe it, the truth of that principle doesn't change based on your belief. So it's either right, or it's not everything happens for a reason. So the focus of sometimes we believe it, sometimes we don't. There are two points. One, it's true, whether we believe it or not, it doesn't make it right, and my not thinking it doesn't make it false, or is that a word vaulter less accurate? The challenge is always to understand that it is true. It is an inherent part of this world's existence, because people choose dumb things, or because accidents happen and the divine design.

Sometimes you can take the idea that everything happens for a reason as comfort and say to yourself, “This difficult thing has happened, or this wonderful thing has happened. And it's comforting to know that there is an intent.” It's comforting to know that there is a purpose here. There are a reason and a benefit and a growth opportunity or a learning opportunity. And then decide I'm going to find that.

It is a choice. If everything happens for a reason, because of just how life is or because someone else, including you, might do some stupid or harmful, then my opportunity is to choose to accept that. Now it's not enough at least it has certainly never been enough for me to select that one time to say, Okay, I choose that. Because things don't get better on my schedule. Things don't change as fast as I want. Can we fix it now? It never works like that. So after I choose to accept the truth that things happen for a reason, or there's powerful learning associated with every struggle trial, or negative, perceived adverse event, I have to re-choose.

Key Takeaways

"You can take comfort in knowing that something happens; everything happens for a reason, or divine learning and capability. Sometimes, on the other hand, we choose to have that be a cop-out. All this stuff happened must be for the reason God did it to me on purpose. "

"So the first choice is to choose I choose to accept that truth. There is learning. There is growth, and there is a blessing, there is a divine presence, divine awareness in every event."

"That is the ultimate life. It's happy. It's joyful every single day, and understanding that everything happens for a reason. And there is wisdom and power in seeking out that reason, and letting it change, grow and embrace your life. I know when you do that, you move faster and faster toward your ultimate life."
