b'We chat with Matt Stephens about life as a Professional Cyclist, Commentator and Digital Content Creator. From a young age you could find Matt out and about on his bike, whether it be out with his mates, going to and from school or out with his dad. Matt first realised that he wanted to be a professional cyclist after being taken over to France by his dad to go along to one of the Tour de France stages, after seeing the action up close he came home and started to compete. From then on Matts career has seen its fair share of ups and downs, from cycling in Europe to turning Pro to Sponsors pulling out of team deals, to injury. After Matts injury he decided it was time to try his hand at something else and joined the police serving on the force for 12 years, from there Matt has once again jumped into the world of professional cycling, although this time he is behind a microphone or camera, sharing his passion and knowledge for the sport. We also chat about the ever growing love affair between Britain and Cycling as both a spectator sport and recreation, with characters such as Sir Bradley Wiggins, Victoria Pendleton, Sir Chris Hoy, Laura Kenny and Mark Cavendish to name just a few, excelling at the sport and inspiring new people to get out on their bikes. We both thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Matt, his passion and enthusiasm is infectious.'
