Life Lessons From Pac-Man - Focus, Enemies, Power Pellets - My Mind is Blown! - #194

Published: April 6, 2022, 6 a.m.

Can playing a game of Pac-Man change your life? Probably not, but playing it today on a study break at a local place here in Rexburg brought me TONS of illumination I needed. I hope it is helpful for you too.

1. Focus - 2:27 If you are not focused then you are unlikely to be able to get the goals done and such that you need to. Narrow down your focus and don't let yourself get pulled in other directions. Only when you collect all of the dots can you move on to a new board. Therefore, make sure you are focused and get done what you need to. It's okay to be invested in multiple boards at once, but it can get out of hand quickly. Practice restraint, compassion, and patience. You can do anything, but not everything.

2. Enemies Are Real - 6:28 -- wolf in sheep's clothing is a thing. This is a thing and then there are times where it is in plain sight because people see it as a good thing now anyway.

Context is important. When I am trying to relax work is kind of the enemy, and when I am trying to work relaxing is the enemy. Then there are other things that are alwyas the enemy.

3. Rest in Power Pellets\xa0 - 12:37 As I played I really considered what are some of the power pellets in my life. With this semester I think they were so far out and scattered it was hard to know where they were.

This led to me going all over the place but not very often getting the peace and bursts of adrenaline and joy I desired.
