Five BIG Life Lessons I Learned From My Mom! - #6

Published: Sept. 27, 2019, 5 a.m.

Today is my mom's birthday! I thought this was a fitting tribute! I'm very excited to share that I'm figuring out college and that I'm releasing another episode on Saturday and then another on Monday! For the time being I'm going to try to shoot for each episode being about 15-20 minutes long.

Thanks for listening. It means so much to know that there are some people who are enjoying this like I am. Also quick podcast news:

We recently got our very first review for the podcast on iTunes, and it was a 5-star! Thank you to whoever did that. That's how this podcast will get noticed. Also I'm still working on getting the YouTube channel for this going. It'll definitely be ready for launch by the end of next week. Thank you for your patience and support.

1. You cannot judge someone by their outward appearance - You'll miss out on some great friendships if you do.

2. People are more important than things - Be careful what you set your heart and spend your time on.

3. Come what may and Love it! - Things will go wrong but you can still rejoice and appreciate your blessings and that you're alive! You can also choose to learn from your struggles and take that into the future, turning a negative into a big positive.

4. The Lord will provide. - You don't need to worry as long as you trust in God and trust that He will provide, because He will (Proverbs 3:5-6)

5. You are an agent, not an object - Nobody is going to take action for you. Believe in yourself and in God and go forward and do it.

Proverbs 16:3 - If you want to accomplish something today pray for help and the Lord will give you the thoughts to accomplish it.
