b'Working Class Audio #152 with Horacio Bolz!!!\\n Horacio Bolz\\xa0 is an engineer/producer from\\xa0\\xa0Montevideo, Uruguay. By the age of 8 he was recording for fun and playing guitar and drums. While his life plan was originally to become a commercial airline pilot, it wasn\'t until\\xa0 later he realized that music, producing and engineering was what I wanted to do in life. So\\xa0by the age of 18 he moved to the UK to follow that dream. Horacio\\xa0\\xa0started his Production & Sound Engineering\\xa0studies at Alchemea Collage in London. Once there he began to work for Phil Manzanera and\\xa0Javier Weyler\\xa0as an assistant engineer. During this period he recorded part of Phil\'s last two solo albums (The Sound of Blue & Corroncho 2). \\xa0 In 2012 Horacio\\xa0returned to Uruguay where he started working as head engineer at Vivace Music. There, he recorded and mixed songs\\xa0for most of the best bands in the country. Meanwhile he started doing live related work\\xa0as a Monitor Engineer for Uruguayan bands. 2013 was the year in\\xa0which Horacio\\xa0 started his band The Islingtons. They released "1\\xa01\\xa02\\xa03\\xa05", their\\xa0 first studio album which was nominated for "Best New Band" at the Graffiti Awards. Since 2015 Horacio has been working as a freelance engineer,\\xa0producer and musician. He owns (with his business partner Christian Eichin) a software development company in\\xa0which they develop a free app called "Wavejam". A collaborative multi-track recorder for iOS devices.
