Yes! After more than a month, it\'s that time again. Listener Question\'s Anwered!!

Today Gina and Susanna go rogue and give some real talk about issues that listeners have submitted. The first question is from a woman that is wondering if she should go into sales and what are some of the pitfalls. What follows is an incredibly nuanced discussion about both women and men in sales and business.

Susanna begins by sharing her fascination with Lifo, which determines management styles - Controlling, adapting, conserving, supporting, and how stress can change your natural style to another.

They talk about how women are often left feeling disregarded, ignored, talked down to, the list goes on. Gina points out that it can be dependent on the workplace. There are some that perpetuate the stereotypes and “traditional” roles of women vs. workplaces that have evolved in a way where women feel free to be themselves, speak their voice and feel recognized equally. Too often we see male managers or executives that confuse passion or pushback from women as being “too emotional.”

Susanna contends that it\'s a bigger thing, because so much is wrapped into societal views, and how much is ingrained in us. Gina contends that with women in sales so much of how we act or react in a workplace hinges on the environment in which we were raised.

Susanna adds that this is truly something bigger, and they discuss how much is ingrained in both sexes that can make it difficult for men to recognize and conversely for women to be recognized. And how much of the responsibility is laid at the feet of leadership and fostering a culture of inclusiveness and equality among the team.

They conclude with stories of women that have inspired them in their life and careers, and that there is a lot to learn from both male and female coworkers.
