Along with being a fun, creating does wonders for stress relief and can be a great form of social engagement. Felica fell in love with crafting the first time her mother took her to local Ben Franklin’s store and purchased a beautiful beaded Christmas ornament kit that the two of them completed for the family Christmas tree. After that she was hooked on all kind of arts and crafts, with an extreme fondness for cooking, paper crafts and fired arts. After moving from Shasta County, CA to the SF Bay Area to finish school and work in the tech industry, Felica relieved corporate stress by taking a multitude of cooking and ceramic classes pending huge amounts of time at one of the South Bay’s favorite pottery studios, Petroglyphs. After being back in Northern California she met and married her wonderful husband David. One day while online searching for a used kiln (for holiday crafting projects) Felica found a kiln for sale attached to the local paint your own pottery studio which was also for sale and the rest is history.
