Tanya\\xa0started her entrepreneurship journey in her 20s and founded her venture SolarArise, a solar power producer with projects in several Indian states (SolarArise has recently been acquired by Thomas Llyod Energy Impact Trust which is listed on the London Stock Exchange).\\xa0She has worked with the Indian Government (Ministry of Renewable Energy) to shape India\\u2019s renewable energy policy.\\xa0Over the years,she has been recognized as\\xa0Asia\\u2019s Most Influential Women in Renewable Energy, Woman of the Year in Solar and was also featured in\\xa0\\xa0Business World 40 under 40.

Her goal is to move the world towards carbon neutrality, towards an emission-free lifestyle, and bring more women into this journey. She is also on the board of Milaan, an NGO supporting underprivileged adolescent girls who aspire to excel\\xa0professionally.She started her career as a strategy consultant at the Boston Consulting Group and holds a Bachelor in Technology degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden.Tanya\\xa0speaks effortlessly and with expertise on various topics such as policies, regulation, the renewable energy sector, climate technology and infrastructure, and entrepreneurship, especially in a largely male-dominated energy industry and her role in supporting and empowering girls through Milaan.\\n\\n
