Michael Waligorski is a photographer, painter and sculptor from Pinckneyville, Illinois. He makes a yearly pilgrimage to Colorado to photograph the aspens as they pop with bright colors. You can find his landscapes and panoramas at the LowerTown Arts and Music Festival, which starts Friday. Jacque Day caught up with Michael as he packed his truck to head down to Kentucky.
