Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear visited WKMS Friday. Chad Lampe and Governor Beshear discussed various issues regarding the state budget, potential cuts to higher education, the future of the Purchase Region Industrial Park Mega-Site in Graves County and stimulus funds impact on Western Kentucky. Beshear presented WKMS a Proclamation recognizing the station's efforts during last year's ice storm.
