Rozalynn Goodwin started her business, Confidence, alongside her daughter Gabby based on this exact premise. After realizing that nothing existed to solve the problem she had with losing her daughter\\u2019s barrettes daily, and being nudged by her daughter - Gabby\\u2019s Bow was created.

Rozalynn\\u2019s Bio

Rozalynn Goodwin is the co-founder of Confidence. She and her seven-year-old daughter Gabby solved\\xa0the age-old problem of disappearing hair barrettes by inventing GaBBY Bows -- the first and patented\\xa0Double-Face Double-Snap Barrette. Their patented barrettes engineered to prevent hair slippage, along\\xa0with their plant-based girls natural hair product line save families time, money and frustration, while\\xa0removing stress from the styling process so moms, dads and girls can cherish this precious time
together.

Confidence launched and began selling barrettes through its online store at gabbybows.com in February\\xa02014. The company has filled online orders to all 50 states in the U.S. and twelve countries. The\\xa0patented barrettes are carried in select Target stores and other retail and beauty supply stores across
the US, Canada and South Africa.

Rozalynn also serves vice president for engagement and a lobbyist for the South Carolina Hospital\\xa0Association (SCHA). Passionate about improving the well-being of populations through health and
human services, Rozalynn serves as the primary link with many private and public-sector stakeholders,\\xa0including policy-makers, community and advocacy groups, insurers and employers. Prior to joining\\xa0SCHA, Rozalynn worked in strategic planning and business development with Palmetto Health and in\\xa0health and human services policy research in the Office of Governor Jim Hodges.

A native of Mt. Carmel, SC, she holds a bachelor\\u2019s degree in Health Care Management from Lander\\xa0University and a Master of Health Administration from the University of South Carolina. She is a Liberty\\xa0Fellow, graduate of Leadership Columbia and serves on the boards of United Way of the Midlands and\\xa0Right Direction Church International. A fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives,\\xa0Rozalynn is a recipient of the James E. Clyburn Community Award for Health Care Leadership from the
University of South Carolina Arnold School of Public Health, Early Career Healthcare Executive Regent\\u2019s\\xa0Award from the American College of Healthcare Executives, Alyce Kemp DeWitt Award for outstanding\\xa0volunteer work from the United Way of the Midlands, Talented Tenth Chelsea Evans Outstanding\\xa0Community Service Award, and has been recognized as a rising business leader in The State\\xa0Newspaper\\u2019s annual \\u201c20 under 40\\u201d feature.

Rozalynn and Gabby have been featured on The Real, HSN, QVC, Aspire TV, NPR How I Built This and The\\xa0Today Show, and in Forbes, Inc., Kiplinger Magazine, Readers\\u2019 Digest, The Washington Post, JET, Black\\xa0Enterprise, Madamnoire, AOL, Hello Beautiful, and Now This.\\xa0Gabby was named a 2015 South Carolina Young Entrepreneur of the Year, the youngest to ever receive

Rozalynn also manages the career of her husband Comedian Mike Goodwin. Rozalynn, Mike, their\\xa0daughter Gabby and son Michael live in Columbia, SC.
