In this episode of WHY DANCE, Abby chats with Nathaniel Hunt a choreographer, dancer, amazing human being... the list goes on!! Nathaniel has performed professionally and toured both domestically and internationally with Ailey II, Ballet Hispanico, the Metropolitan Opera, Zvi Guthenoir's Zvi Dance, Austin McCormick’s Company XIV, Adaptations Dance Theater, Earl Mosley's Diversity of Dance, and Maria Bauman's MBDance.​

​Nathaniel’s choreographic and guest artist teaching highlights include Bucknell University, The Peabody Preparatory of The John Hopkins University, Adaptations Dance Theater, Santa Fe College, and Maui Performing Arts Academy. Nathaniel was an associate adjunct professor at Long Island University - Brooklyn teaching contemporary modern technique. Recently, he auditioned, selected, choreographed, and mentored the very first All County Dance Performance Ensemble for Maryland's Howard County Public School System.

​He continues to perform diverse repertory, educate aspiring dancers of all ages, and create innovative work that strives to inspire, encourage, and connect with many audiences worldwide. Nathaniel is the Artistic Director and Founder of The Nathaniel Hunt Project, a global dance hub organization created to nourish a legacy of intimate relationships through movement.
