The 21st century has brought many advancements in the technology field. From brand new computers that can be run with a microchip the size of a postage stamp to advancements in artificial intelligence and implants that have brought human sight back to the blind, the advancements are drastic, but can they be dangerous?\n\nAn example of such dangerous advancement is the wearable smart watch, capable of checking one\u2019s pulse, temperature and now, blood pressure, but is this an advancement people should do without?\n\nWill people turn to these technologies in favour of wracking up mounds of doctor\u2019s bills?\n\nAre we so busy thinking of can we do such a thing, that we should be thinking if we should do such a thing?\n\nJoin our panel, on Friday nights at 8:00 pm (EST), 5:00 pm (PST) and 1:00 am (GMT), as they discuss topical news items of importance from a blind perspective.\n\nThe Blind Perspective is an interactive show, allowing for the participation of the audience.
