Peach Cranberry Upside Down Cake\n\nWhat You Will Need:\n\nMeasuring cups\na can opener\nA kitchen knife for cutting\nan implement for spreading\ntwo 9 inch round cake pans \nA toothpick or skewer\n2 Serving plates\npaper towels\n\nIngredients:\n\n1 stick of butter, melted\n\xbd cup of packed brown sugar\n3 cups of thawed frozen or canned peach slices (thick slices cut in half)\n2 cups of fresh or thawed frozen cranberries\n1 package (about 15 ounces) of yellow cake mix, \nplus the ingredients to prepare mix\nThe package will give directions\n\nCooking Directions:\n\nPreheat the oven to 350 degrees. \nSpray the two 9 inch round cake pans \nwith nonstick cooking spray. \nDivide the butter and brown sugar between the prepared pans; \nspread evenly over the bottom of the pans. \nArrange the peach slices over the butter mixture; \nsprinkle with the cranberries. \nPrepare the cake mix according to the package directions. \nSpread the batter over the fruit in each pan. \nBake for 30 to 35 minutes, \nor until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. \nCool for 5 minutes; \ninvert the cakes onto serving plates. \nCool at least 30 minutes before serving.\n\nMakes 12 to 16 servings.\n\nImportant notice from Donna J.
