Apricot Double Chip Cake\n\nWhat you will Need:\n\nMeasuring cups\nA sharp kitchen knife for cutting\nAn implement for spreading\na nine inch square baking pan\na toothpick or a skewer\nPaper towels\n\nIngredients:\n\n2 cups of apricot preserves or jam\n\xbd cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided\n\xbd cup of white chocolate chips, divided\n1 package (about 15 ounces) of yellow cake mix\n1 stick of butter, cut into thin slices\n1 Third cup of water\n\nCooking Directions:\n\nPreheat oven to 350 degrees. \nSpray 9 inch square baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. \nSpread the preserves in the prepared pan. Sprinkle with half of semi-sweet chips and half of white chips. \nTop with cake mix, spreading evenly. \nTop with butter in a single layer, \ncovering the cake mix as much as possible. \nDrizzle the water over the top. \nSprinkle with the remaining semi-sweet and white chips. \nBake for 50 to 55 minutes, \nor until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. \nCool at least 15 minutes before serving.\n\nMakes 9 servings.\n\nImportant notice from Donna J.
