Skillet Southwest Chili\n\nWhat You Will Need:\n\n1 Can opener\nMeasuring spoons \n1 large skillet\npot spoons\npaper towels\n\nIngredients:\n\n1 pound of lean ground beef\n2 cans (14.5 ounces each) of Del Monte Diced Tomatoes with Onion and Garlic\n1 can (15 ounces) of low-sodium black or kidney beans, rinsed and drained\n1 can (4 ounces) of diced green chiles\n1 tablespoon of chili powder\nGreen onions or cilantro, optional\n\nCooking Directions:\n\nBrown beef in large skillet; drain. \nAdd undrained tomatoes, beans, chiles and chili powder; \nsimmering for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. \nGarnish with green onions, if desired.\n\nMakes 4 servings.\n\nKitchen Helpful Hints:\n\nTemperature Control Part 4: (Keeping Hot Foods Hot)\n\nWrap It Up:\n* Wrap a roast in a double thickness of foil or 10 or more layers of newspaper to keep it hot for up to an hour. Food can be transported this way too.\n\nTime Control Part 5: (Keeping Hot Foods Hot)\n\nBox It Up:\n* Hot casseroles or a Dutch oven filled with hot foods, covered or well-wrapped, can be stored or transported in an insulated picnic carrier. The food will stay hot longer if the carrier is filled. Stuff any spaces with crumpled paper.\n* Use an ice bucket with a cover to keep stews, soups, etc. hotfor an hour or longer. Rinse the bucket in hot water first to warm it.
