Adults rarely have an opportunity to enjoy cartoons, as an adult. The Simpsons was one of the cartoon series to feature adult entertainment, followed by such shows as Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, and Ren and Stimpy, but now, a new show has come along that Victor is happy and enthusiastic to watch. Released by DC Entertainment, and now moving to a major streaming service near you, comes a show with gratuitous violence, raunchy language, homosexuality, and a Joker here or there.

Harley Quinn was the Moll to the Joker on DC Comics, until her independent streak got the better of her, and she branched out on her own.

She began her life as Harleen Quinzel, a psychiatrist to the lunatics incarcerated in the walls of Arkham Asylum in Gotham City, until she met the Joker, illustrious foe of Batman. Once she met him, she was lost in his charm and fell in love with the Joker. The Joker then turned her into his moll, but he figured he’d control her forever, but he didn’t anticipate how independent she was, and so, Harley Quinn branched out on her own, with her own crew alongside such notable villains as Clay-Face, King Shark, and the alluring Poison Ivy, in an attempt to become a more notable villain.

Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t, but most of all, you fall in love with this character, and you wonder if villainy is really for her, or is she clumsy at all things, good or bad.

This show features the voice talents of Caley Cuoco, of the Big Bang Theory, and Jason Alexander, formerly of Seinfeld. One is never disappointed at the entertainment provided in this series, and the viewer begs for more. It has been renewed for a third season and is being streamed on HBO Max.

Watch and listen to Victor’s review of television shows, and movies that are released with description for the blind, and he lets you know if the feature is a grand watch, or something that should be left in the discount bin at your local video store.
