This week\u2019s episode brings Victor to the fitness component, which includes exercise and achieving a healthy activity pattern, and while normally, this would not be of a concern to Victor, his endocrinologist has decided to put Victor on insulin, and a third injectable medication for diabetes, so monitoring his sugar levels will be of prime concern, however, Victor has been given a tool to assist him with this process, the Libre glucose monitoring system that is also linked with his endocrinologist\u2019s office. No more nasty needles that will eventually completely cover his fingertips with calluses, and on demand readings when ever he would like to take one. So major changes are happening, and Victor will update everyone with details.\n\nYou can find information on the Bariatric program at the Humber River Regional Hospital website at the following link: \n\nhttps://www.hrh.ca/programs/surgery/ \n\nAnd should you be looking for a hospital closer to you that performs this program in Ontario, please check out the Ontario bariatric network website at the following address: \n\nhttps://www.ontariobariatricnetwork.ca/ \n\nIf you have questions, concerns and/or comments, please leave them in the comments section below, or.
