Many people with disabilities are forced to receive social assistance benefits in order to reside in today\u2019s world. Even then, most, if not all social assistance benefits are far short of the minimum living wage, not to mention the cost of living, especially in larger cities becomes more and more difficult.\n\nSome believe if a person does not have a job and are in receipt of social assistance benefits, those that are able to, should be made to volunteer their time in order to earn the benefits they receive.\n\nIf a person is able to work and does not, does that person earn the right to receive those benefits regardless of their situation?\n\nShould a person be able to receive benefits, just for living?\n\nJoin our panel, on Saturday, 4:00 pm (EST), 1:00 pm (PST), 9:00 pm (GMT), as they discuss topical news items of importance from a blind perspective.\n\nThe Blind Perspective is an interactive show, allowing for the participation of the audience.
