She has a degree in Veterinary Medicine and a master of science in animal reproduction from the University of Soa Paulo, Brazil. She then completed her PhD in genetics at the University of Queensland and has held prestigious scholarships from UQ and the Beef CRC. In this interview she takes host Jayne Cuddihy through the fascinating work being done in paddocks across Australia and the repercussions for a stronger, more sustainable industry into the future. She also has an amazing story of her own- from growing up in the overcrowded cities of Brazil, to her move to Australia for love and the sacrifices she made to follow her dream.
