$500M: Another record for Adairs | Microsoft now a hotel company | Aussie company gets $5B buyout offer

Aussie furniture retailer Adairs has achieved another record year of sales - up almost 30% to $500M - thanks to its ‘omni-channel model’.

 

Microsoft has stepped outside its comfort zone with an investment of around $7 million (AUD) into an Indian hotel chain named Oyo.

 

Aussie company Spark Infrastructure has agreed to a $5B buyout from private equity firms, as low interest rates drive acquisition activity globally.
