And I mean "we" as my longtime friend and frequent concert companion Dave discuss new music for a change. On August 7, 2020, Avatar and Deep Purple released new records and maybe "review" is too strong a word for what we did here, but I wanted each of us to be able to give our impressions of these new albums. The audio may not be up to big boy standards but I think the Zoom call comes out reasonably clear. As usual, there are things you later wish you had said. For example, when discussing how "Hunter Gatherer" seems like a smart record, I wanted to also include that I learned from the song "Child" about the concept of safety coffins, which came equipped with means (in this case, a bell) for those wrongly buried to let people know, "hey, I\'m not dead yet, get me out of here!" That\'s probably not something discussed on Top 40 radio.

We spend a few seconds on some of the bonus tracks the Rolling Stones will include on the upcoming edition of "Goat\'s Head Soup," including the marvelous "Scarlet" session featuring Jimmy Page.
