\\xa0 \\xa0 \\xa0 \\xa0 \\xa0 \\xa0The Cthulhu mythos originated from the works of H. P. Lovecraft with the 1919 publication of the short story "Dagon". This story was followed by "The Necronomicon" and of course "The Call of Cthulhu." Lovecraft and several of his contemporaries expanded on this mythos during his lifetime. This growth didn't stagnate after his death as many others have contributed their own stories to the mythos. There are even cults and religions based on these stories, their followers believe that the authors were somehow guided by these "Elder Gods." Join us as we dive into the history of these extraterrestrial "deity's" and struggle to pronounce their names which were never intended to be uttered by the human tongue.
