This week Ethan poses the question "Is Gon the True MC of Hunter X Hunter?" We tried to put Gon up against some of the great Shounen protagonists of all time and compare and contrast. To me, this is Ethan, Gon just doesn't feel like the MC there is something holding him back. We talk character motivations, goals, and character growth and how those characteristics shadow a Main Character.

The 2011 Anime release of Hunter X Hunter was produced by Madhouse and became an instant classic. Togashi originally created the Manga in March of 1998. It has been insanely successful, the show is the 8th Best Selling Manga in the history of Shueisha.
