Wealthy Sistas Multi Talented TV News Anchor/Host Victoria Gaither

b'Victoria is a native Washingtonian. She is a TV news anchor/reporter and a mutlimedia program host.\\n\\n\\nShe started her broadcasting career as an intern for Ted Koppel. She landed her first full-time job as a writer/producer in Baltimore at WMAR TV. Victoria moved from behind to infront of the camera working as a reporter and anchor in the Midwest at WAND news and at WMDT news on Maryland\\u2019s Eastern Shore. They say the TV business is a small one and she returned to Baltimore as an on air personality.\\n\\n\\nIt was at WMDT news that she produced and hosted \\u2018Good Things Delmarva\\u2019 a public affairs show. \\nDoing this show gave Victoria the idea to do a show with positive news. "Always having it in her mind", she says. "Last year, I decided to act on it and I created \\u2018At Home with Victoria\\u2019 a show that focuses on women\\u2019s issues, the work of non profit organizations and community stories.\\u201d \\n\\n\\n"I started to put the word out to my friends in TV news, producers, directors, folks I had done stories on in the past and non profits to let me give them air time on my show to talk about their passions. In TV news, I would do a 30 minute interview and only 30 seconds would show up on the evening news. "I always thought what a waste because so much important information never reached the public". \\n\\n\\n"Now, these organizations can use my show as a promotion tool or on their websites to promote their organizations."\\n\\n\\nVictoria show is available I-Tunes as a free podcast. She is also active with the American News Womens Organization of DC and The National Press Club in Washington DC.'
