Chillicothe suffered its first loss of the young 2017 season, falling to Marion Franklin 40-26. The Cavs took a 21-18 lead entering the intermission and tacked on a 19 yard field goal for a 24-18 lead in the third quarter, but the Red Devils scored 22 unanswered points to improve to 3-0.
