ABOUT ALEJANDRO

Alejandro is a multipreneur Founder of Crossborderly and other ventures. His relationship with international parcel shipping comes from having owned a freight forwarder in Miami in 2013-14, focused on shipping immigrant boxes to Latin America, and then from 2019 to 2023 being one of the key directors for Liberty Express, and supervising the export of over 500.000 packages per year to 17 different countries, while complying with US and destination regulations, and also managing the marketing effort in all those markets.

Liberty Express has a customer base of 2M buyers across all the countries they serve and the challenges were many and of many shapes and flavors.

In 2023, Alejandro decided to focus on the sellers, and helping them be succesful internationally, without all the inconveniences of the big carriers, like surprise charges, high fees, custom abandonment and lack of support.

Alejandro has also partnered with a top fulfillment center in Miami to improve the time to shipping for established brands, and is building an Amazon-like marketplace to de-risk the launch of international sales and remove all the limitations of working with marketplaces like Amazon and their high fees.
