Imagine waking in the middle of the night unable to move a muscle, and feeling or see the presence of something malevolent either in your room, or sitting on your chest. You try to scream for help, but no sound escapes your lips. After what seems like eternity the presence and feeling of being paralysed suddenly stops as quickly as it started. You lay there terrified and confused about what just happened. You have just experienced what has many names in different countries and cultures throughout the world - Riding the Witch, Night terrors, The old hag syndrome - or the more modern term of Sleep paralysis

Around 7.6% of the world\\\\'s population will experience at least one episode of Sleep Paralysis in their lives. But for some unfortunate people this is a recurrent happening in their lives. Medical Scientist say it can easily be explained away as a neurophysiological event - BUT, does that preclude it from being a spiritual event as well?
